Plymouth Intergenerational Coalition

The Plymouth Intergenerational Center is going to offer Sheboygan County a boundry breaking facility for everyone to enjoy.  It will: 

• Encourage the generations to learn from each other, help each other and work together to build a strong community through civic engagement and all in one center thereby saving costs.
• Provide recreational, educational and social opportunities for our growing retired population
• Ensure Plymouth continues to have quality child care options in the community like Here We Grow.
• Support the Family Resource Center’s programming which strengthens families and communities.
• Be a community center that will have a game area (pool, foosball, shuffle board, darts, Wii) and a gathering area where everyone can enjoy the facility.
• Draw in people from around the county who can also shop and enjoy the city of Plymouth. 

It will also:

• Be self sustainable by operating off of the tenants rental fees

• Add 70,000 hours of labor to the area’s economy during construction – that is over 33 full time positions and it will…
• Bring $1,010,000 in federal stimulus dollars to OUR area.
